Shannon Richards
Shannon is from the Vale of Glamorgan and went to St Cyres School in Penarth. After successfully navigating her way through A-levels, Shannon took up a place at Swansea University, from where she graduated with a 2.1 law degree.
Shannon decided to gain hands-on legal experience by working at a law firm for a year after graduation, and believes her knowledge and confidence were boosted by doing so. She completed her LPC at Cardiff University in 2020 with a Commendation.
Before joining Mooneerams in April 2023, Shannon worked on high-value clinical negligence claims and cosmetic and dental claims at two well-known national law firms.
Shannon was awarded a Trainee Solicitors Contract by Mooneerams in early September 2024.
At Mooneerams, Shannon works alongside Andrew Last on Employers Liability, Public Liability and Clinical Negligence cases. Her work involves, amongst other things, assisting with legal research, drafting court documents and liaising with clients and third party insurers.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her nieces, going for nice meals with friends, and taking her beloved dog, Lexie, for long walks.
