We are thrilled to announce Ellie Robbins as the latest recruit to the Mooneerams Solicitors family. Ellie joined us at the beginning of September and will work alongside Mooneerams Director Andrew Last while assisting other team members.

A Promising Background

Ellie has always lived in Efail Isaf, near Pontypridd, and attended Bryncelynnog Comprehensive School in Beddau. Recently, Ellie completed her law degree studies at Cardiff University and graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours.

Ellie, whose new role with Mooneerams is that of Paralegal, has already gained a wealth of experience from previous work placements with three other local firms of solicitors and Mooneerams as well as two with a set of barrister chambers.

All of this experience has equipped her with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of law. During her studies, Ellie demonstrated a keen interest in personal injury law, which fits in perfectly with our firm’s specialism in this area of law.

A Perfect Fit for Andrew Last’s Team

Mooneerams Director Andrew Last, has built a reputation for combining an empathetic approach to his clients’ needs with a robust approach to handling their cases. Ellie’s addition to Andrew’s team will only further enhance Mooneerams’ ability to provide first class legal services to our clients.

Andrew commented on Ellie’s arrival:

“We’re delighted to welcome Ellie to our team. Her passion for personal injury law and enthusiastic can-do approach will undoubtedly contribute to our continued growth and success in serving our clients.”

Why was Ellie Attracted to the Idea of Working at Mooneerams?

Who better than Ellie to answer this question?

“I have to say that it’s brilliant reputation was what initially attracted me to the firm. From seeing client reports and working in the office over the past few weeks, all involved clearly show genuine care towards clients and a desire to seek justice for them. Seeing this level of care first-hand is what attracted me to accept Mooneerams’ offer of a paralegal role, alongside the fact we are the leading Claimant personal injury firm in Wales. Everyone here is dedicated to providing clients with the highest standard of service, which is reflected in the 5*reviews they leave once their claim has been settled.

As soon as I entered the office, I was greeted with a series of smiles and “hellos” from the team, which made me immediately realise that I wanted to work at Mooneerams. Everyone is willing to help one another, and no question is a silly one. This attitude is also reflected in the firm’s attitude to aspiring lawyers. Mooneerams strives to help law students gain valuable experience and is always willing to give advice on entering the legal profession, a truly brilliant feature of the firm.

A further feature that attracted me to accept the firm’s offer of a paralegal role was the overwhelming sense of community spirit. Mooneerams works closely with their Charity of the Year ‘Bronwen’s W;sh‘ and plays an active role in fundraising for the charity, something I have not seen at other firms.

These features, in combination with everything behind the scenes at Mooneerams, made my decision for me. I am delighted to have accepted this position and kick start my career at such a well-respected firm.”

Welcome on board, Ellie! We look forward to the positive impact we know you’ll make as part of the Mooneerams family.
